Stretch, move, tone and condition every muscle you've got as your mind quiets down.  Dancer's Stretch  is a class which may surprise you. Not yoga, not pilates, not dance and not boot camp.... and yet, all of those things. This uniquely blended class begins with an intense body blast of conditioning (arms, shoulders, back, abs, glutes, legs), designed to strengthen and tone, and raise your body temperature for optimum (injury free) stretching. The tempo of the class then slows into a fluid dance like movement of yoga and ballet, choreographed to whichever soulful soundtrack is playing on that particular day. Consistent attendance will increase flexibilty, improve posture, sculpt arms and shoulders and flatten the tummy. But the real icing on the cake is how good you'll sleep, how relaxed you will leave class and for a hour of your day, you will disconnect from the stress of life and reconnect with some of it's beauty.

Trust Meditation
Limited Capacity full

In our daily lives, we feel fear, have trust issues, and are insecure in our own bodies. We feel pressured to keep up with others and try to be better, instead could we just not be where we are? Trust ourselves a little more and just be happy and content in our bodies. We have nothing to defend and nothing to prove to anyone.

Trust Meditation is a form of meditation the combines trust, faith and the un-knowing. Walking with your eyes closed and not knowing the direction is very unsettling. Not knowing your direction in life period is unsettling. By trusting that all will be well when you open your eyes your body and your mind come to an understanding. In Trust Meditation there is only the moment that you can hear your breath and feel the ground beneath your feet. Your heart and mind become one and peace starts to calm your soul, or you may have so much fear you are afraid to move, in this class we will accept that fear, but we will move through it.

In the class we will do a walking trust meditation of about 20 minutes in the beautiful Chattahoochee Nature Center. After meditation, we will have a round discussion of what we felt, what was going through our minds and hearts. I will guide you in techniques that will help you deal with fear, the unknown, trusting yourself, standing with you and most important how to trust your decisions that you make. You will leave this class with a whole new perspective on meditation, trust, and what is really in your heart and how to move through and face the tough issues and decisions in your life.

Come walk with me….trust yourself and I will guide you.

You Have Options
Limited Capacity seats available

One of the greatest mistakes we make in designing a purposeful life is forgetting that we have options. Beyond the fundamentals of what to study, where to live or whom to date is the greatest option of all - what to think and learning how directing thought is necessary. More than just a fad of positive thinking for personal gain, choosing the option to live life by intentional thinking is the reason any of us are here. The bonus is that you already know how to do it, you just have to regularly choose it.

Pure Barre is the fastest, most effective, yet safest way to change your body.
In just 55 minutes you will achieve a full-body workout concentrating on the areas women struggle with the most: hips, thighs, seat, abdominals and arms. The Pure Barre technique is low-impact, protecting your joints by avoiding any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long, lean muscles without bulk. The technique works to defy gravity by tapering everything in and lifting it up!

The concentration involved while taking Pure Barre allows you to block "life" out for the hour, creating the mental benefits similarly obtained by the practice of yoga or meditation. A transformed body and a clear head in just one hour—it doesn't get much better than this.

Play with Fire: The Alchemy of Yoga
Limited Capacity seats available

As truth seekers and yogis, we are already alchemists. Alchemy’s metaphorical transformation of materials from base metal to gold, of beings from mortal to immortal, of our very essence from ego to enlightened, aligns beautifully with the practice of yoga. A mix of scientific principles, religions, magic, spirituality, metaphor and mythology, alchemy’s end goal manifests in yoga as one of surrender, self-realization and freedom from suffering. Playing with the alchemical fire encourages just that.

In this 60-minute class, we will make the most of change in our lives, embracing both destruction and new beginnings. We will move through a strong vinyasa practice in The Kaivalya Yoga Method, generating heat to awaken the body’s energetic channels. An emphasis on the seven chakras will heighten our consciousness and support the union of opposites. Guided meditation will lead us through the fires of change and toward the divine spark we hold within. Expect music, laughs, hands-on adjustments, serious yoga, yes; yoga taken too seriously, no. This class may be challenging to a beginner, but is open to all levels.

An Exercise in Shine Theory
Limited Capacity seats available

The Shine Theory,” rationale is simple: “I don’t shine, if you don’t shine.”

When we encounter other women who appear happier, more attractive and more successful than we are, our instinct is to feel threatened. And in a world where there seems to be a finite amount of success for women, one more female who has it just so together means there’s less room for us.

An Exercise in Shine Theory is all about empowering yourself through vulnerability. Spend part of your afternoon reflecting on those who empower and inspire you through writing exercises and conversation. The goal is to radiate their light and your own back into the world ten fold.

But instead of throwing rocks at a distance, The Shine Theory proposes we approach and befriend this powerful female. It makes sense.  "I don't shine, if you don't shine."

Be Your Brighter Self
Limited Capacity seats available

A  slow, fluid movement in Meditation and Pranayama.  This flow uses Graceful transitions with Fluid power to encourage fluid Decision and Action from the Foundation of Security and Presence.  Transitions or Changes, will navigate you to a destination of Stillness and Observation of  the internal battle of Brighter Self - extension, depth, power, etc. vs Fear Base Self - playing small, shallow, timid, etc.  You will gracefully flow then marinate to expose and let the illusion of self imposed Resistance, Doubt, Avoidance, Playing Small etc..  and expand into your Fertile Rightful Green Space (Growth) the illusions left behind with Brightness.   Bear witness to a magical shift in your consciousness within that situation as it happens without reverting back to those Old habits.  Allowing us to realize the illusion of Fear Based Issues and Realizing your Potential during those moments and situations.  This is an All Levels Journey.  See you on the mat!

Yin Yoga
Limited Capacity seats available

Yin yoga is a wonderful counterbalance to any fitness routine. It is a practice that facilitates deep release of the physical, energetic, mental, and emotional effects of everyday stresses.  Think of it as a reboot. Just as more active (yang) exercise practices help build strength and flexibility in the muscles, Yin Yoga helps build strength and flexibility in the body’s connective tissue through gentle, long-held postures during which the focus is placed on the breath. This healing practice is perfect for new and experienced yogis, as well as athletes wishing to benefit from faster muscle recovery and increased range of motion.

Rooftop Pure Barre
Limited Capacity filling up
