Yoga nidra or "yogi sleep" or "lucid sleeping" is a sleep-like state that can be experienced during meditations. Yoga nidra is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. No need to feel intimidated by the thought of this in any way, though—it's pretty awesome and the immediate benefits are reduced stress and anxiety. Hells yeah! You'll totally be guided into this deep relaxation and there is nothing required of you but to lie down and listen as you reconnect to your body and your purpose. Together, we will explore all eight stages of yoga nidra: relaxation, creating your affirmation, body scan, breath awareness, manifestation of opposites, creative visualization, stating your affirmation and return.
